  • I am so thankful to not be bogged down. Although there are always things to do, sometimes you have the option not do them. That would be today.

Strangely, I have enjoyed my work lately. Not that I ever hated it or anything, but I guess it's nice to go and actually enjoy the time spent there. Good stuff.

  • Another week has passed. I am finally not behind, and have been enjoying most of the last 36 hours.

Here's the week in a jif

Things I like: Laughing with Elisabeth, hearing that my sister is too rough in soccer, getting a package filled with goodies, having ice cream with a friend, being affirmed, talking to Jess on lunch, the sunshine, things that remind me of Christmas, being warm, watching good movies, hugs, being out of the city for short periods of time.

Things I don't like: People (anyone) not being nice to my Molly, overload of homework, lack of sleep, pointless talking, being mad for no good reason, not talking when you should.

That really doesn't tell you everything, but it's nice to reflect on bits of life that are great. And really, there are so many things that are great. Hope your next week is great.

  • So I apologize for being slow. That's just how I am :) Actually I had a most enjoyable weekend at home in Stoughton, which has been the strength to keep me going since mid last week to right now. I was able to see my whole family and my two best friends, Stacy and Jess.

Madison is one crazy place, like a college scene out of a movie, the stereotype of young adults. You know what I like? That I haven't experienced that there at the University of Minnesota. Yes, I have a busy frat next door, but nothing like the blocks upon blocks of little alcohol huts in Madison.

I enjoy this school but I surely miss home.

I also miss being carefree. Yes, you might have to go to work, but you can come home to your room, and read or sleep, or sit on the porch and look over the pond. Now that is what I desire. Peace.

Well, I guess I now have wrote something substantial for the first time.

About Me

  • I'm still a teenager, so you probably shouldn't be reading this. I am almost mature though, just not quite. I have a job, I go to school, I am committed to church, and I don't like prepackaged food.
